Wrapped Banano (wBAN) — 6 Month Anniversary & Updates

wBAN was officially launched on Binance Smart Chain in June 2021.

So many things happened since: we had farms in ApeSwap, lots of events, really cool ELI5 comics, a new wBAN deployment on Polygon & SushiSwap, lots of new monkeys joining the Banano family from wBAN, a hack, until recently a PancakeSwap farm and even some new adventures in NFTs. More to come!

On Dec 5, 2021 at 19:19 UTC wBAN will have been running for 6 months, so it will be party time! Expect plenty of surprises and events.

The first gift will be a live performance from our beloved Enki, on JungleTV, precisely at 19:19 UTC!

Quick reminders, monkeys:

- Don’t forget to claim your golden wBAN NFT when you have enough NFTs to do so (instructions)

- It’s not recommended to keep all your BAN stash in wBAN. Be aware of the risks involved in any bridge / liquidity pool / farm. If you’re coming from wBAN — at least set up the bridge, and try unwrapping once. Feel free to ask us questions in the #wrapped-banano channel on Discord.

- Withdraw your liquidity pool tokens from PancakeSwap farm if you haven’t done so already — since the PCS farm has now ended

Second gift: our beloved Benis was supposed to lower Polygon rewards (currently at 380k wBAN), on Dec 4. Instead he will start distributing 500k wBAN from Dec 4 to Jan 1st 3PM UTC!

PS: Benis should lower rewards on Jan 1 2022. In case he stops distributing rewards or gives crazy amounts, that would be my fault (WTP). I would either still be sleeping or too drunk to do proper maths 🤣
